So, I feel the need to publicly answer some questions that I've been asked in many an email of late. So here goes:
1) The CD is finally out. Right now, it's available through Paypal, CD Baby, and Amazon.com. The links to Paypal and CD Baby are on both my main myspace page and my website,
www.linmcewan.com. So why haven't you heard more about it yet? Well...
2)...because the CD will be available on Itunes in just a few weeks. At which point, believe me, everyone-and-their-mother who has ever met me will be receiving an email. Just didn't want to hit everyone over the head with it too many times because, personally, nothing turns me off from something more. Also...
3)...because I know a whole lot of you have said you want to buy it from me in person. So you're probably wondering why we've been playing fewer gigs than usual. Well, there are several reasons for this, the first being...
4)...our amazing bassist, Andy Galore, had an unbelievable last-minute opportunity to tour with the inimitable Al DiMeola. He just got back, so yay, Andy! But just as he gets back...
5)...our dear drummer, John heads off for the whole summer to play Buddy Holly's drummer in a stage version of "The Buddy Holly Story." So break a leg, John. We'll miss you.
6) We've also been working on a lot of new material. So get excited for new sets at our upcoming gigs.
5) Oh, and yeah, my website is obviously up-and-running with improvements to come. So check it out if you get a chance.
